NB+C Sponsors 2018 Wireless Connect Conference

College Park, MD – Network Building + Consulting sponsored the Wireless Connect Conference in partnership with the Master’s in Telecommunications Program held at the University of Maryland on April 3-4, 2018.

The event focused on connecting various stakeholders of wireless eco-systems, through stimulating panel discussions and technical workshops designed around the next generation of wireless technology. It also served as a means to provide a meaningful educational venue for the participants.

During the conference, NB+C President, Tom Kane participated in a panel discussion on “Densification and In-Building Wireless” and NB+C Vice President, Site Development, Conlon McCarthy participated in the “Evolution of the 5G Workforce” panel.

During the “Evolution of the 5G Workforce panel, experts discussed the Telecommunications Education Center (TEC), created by WIA.  “NB+C jumped on WIA’s training courses” said Vice President, Site Development, Conlon McCarthy, “They’re the only game out there for formal site training.” McCarthy also discussed NB+C internship program on the panel, and how NB+C brings on undergrad interns each summer, providing them with hands-on experience in the wireless industry.
