NB+C – Celebrate Diversity Month

NB+C proudly announces the successful conclusion of its Celebrate Diversity Month festivities, which featured a range of engaging and inclusive events organized by the People of Change – United in Color (POC-UIC) employee resource group. Throughout April, NB+C employees united to honor the diverse tapestry of cultures, traditions, and perspectives that enrich our community. Spearheaded by the POC-UIC, a diverse array of activities fostered understanding, appreciation, and unity among our team members.

The festivities commenced with an energetic kickoff event, including interactive activities like the Map+Flags initiative. Here, employees proudly displayed their origins by pinning locations on a world map and crafting flags to represent their cultural heritage, visually showcasing the diversity within our company.

In addition, employees participated in a Workspace Decorating Contest, infusing their workspaces with personal touches that celebrated their unique identities and cultural heritage. The contest encouraged creativity and sparked meaningful conversations about the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Furthermore, the month-long celebration included educational sessions, trivia challenges, and a culminating potluck party where employees had the opportunity to share dishes that represented their cultural backgrounds.
